Configuration ​

Frontend configuration is centralized in front/src/config/environment.ts.

API client ​

  • Base URL: VITE_API_BASE_URL; code fallback is http://localhost:3000/api.
  • Timeout: VITE_API_TIMEOUT; code fallback is 10000 milliseconds.
  • Axios defaults to Content-Type: application/json.
  • When an access token is present, the client adds a bearer authorization header.

Other frontend defaults ​

The same module defines the app name/version, feature flags, storage prefix/version, UI defaults (language, currency, theme), pagination settings, date formatting, password/email validation settings, and development error/performance flags. These are frontend defaults, not proof of backend validation or available server-side features.

Setup notes ​

Set frontend environment values before starting or building Vite. Vite variables prefixed with VITE_ are included in browser-delivered code and must not contain secrets. See Environment.
